Resveratrol in Red wine offers many health benefits and one of the reasons of the so called “French Paradox”. Resveratrol is an antioxidant that abundantly found in the skin of grapes used to ferment wine. The “French paradox” is the term used to describe the amazing lifestyle of french people who have a high consumption of wine but relatively low in cardiovascular diseases. Resveratrol helps prevent cardiovascular disorder. However, medical research shows no enough evidence whether red wine has an abundant content of resveratrol compared to white wine.
